NG Kerk Eros

We are very glad to have a wonderful partner with the NG Kerk in Eros. We met amazing people there who would like to support us, not only with their perfect facilities but with their ideas, passion and enthusiasm to also help others and do good to your next one.

The NG Kerk in Eros is already having a few projects towards the community, such as Imago Dei and other projects and events for children and young adults.

We are excited to benefit from their experience and their almost endless effort to support us and together we will give a few children some unforgettable moments.

Music Ministry ...

When Susanne and Rico Lachmann asked me to help at the December BSDaT Holiday camp 2009, I was so exited - they saw a need and immediately set to work to fulfil that need! To be involved with their projects to give less privileged children a chance to enjoy life, is sheer joy.

I am the music co-ordinator of the Dutch Reformed Church Windhoek East. One of our ministries at the church, is the Music Ministry. Our group has the vision to share God’s love as we know it in Jesus Christ, through music and singing. We want to serve God and all people with the gifts of music that his Spirit gave us.

Besides helping with praise and worship at our church services, we visit different schools on a weekly bases, homes for the elderly occasionally or whenever someone asks us to help with singing or music and we became involved with the above mentioned Holiday Camp and Highland Games, organized by Susanne and Rico. We call this ministry, life@christ.music, because we believe that real life only exists through Jesus Christ and we share it through music. It would be wonderful if more people can get involved with this ministry.

The Music Ministry also started a networking opportunity, called MusiekNet with the purpose to link musicians in mainly the Namibian church community with each other. With music workshops and get-togethers, we want to share our gifts, knowledge, joys and difficulties but also remind each other that we are here to serve not ourselves, but those in need!
